Sebas and Nerea

Hi Sebas and Nerea

We hope that you are having a great time in France.
We have started unit 11, which deals with WORK. So far, we have practised vocabulary. Words with definitions in English: all the jobs in the yellow box on page 130; plus "curriculum vitae", "letter of application", "application form", "referees" (p. 132). You can fill in an application form (again) if you click here and download the form. It should be fun! Do vocabulary activities in the workbook and the listening exercise on the page opening the unit in the workbook.
We also dealt with money. You will be given a handout with a crossword and other words. Find the definitions of the words from the yellow box in your coursebook in an English-English dictionary.
We practised Conditional sentences. Notice the structure for the mixed conditional sentences and practise in these websites.
difficult
types 1-3
Practise writing an application letter and your CV

I'm Carlos.
We have a big problem because paula and i we've both forgotten the books! I'm sorry i thought i've put it in my bag! I've brought the notebook and the FCE book... I'll ask someone of class if he can scan the pages and send them to us but it wont be very quick because it takes a long time but we'll get them. Here (in my class because paula and i are in different classes) they're practising writtings like persuasive, argumentative and informative texts and i assist and pay attention in class. its a good practice, we'll look up the words you've told us and fill the subway thing and hope i can find our english book in the library (its very big and they have several coursebooks so i'll try to find one). Again i'm sorry and i promise we'll catch up what we've missed. Thank you for making the efford of telling us the things through the blog.

Also, the aplication for the subway restaurant do we fill it with real information or we make it up? Because it has some parts we wont be able to fill with real information... Jaja

I'm Paula, I dont have user in google, I think I have all the books, but I am not sure, I will tell you tomorrow and Carlos can make photocopies of mines because we have bought a card for it (we should have the same in the Altair).
Are you giving photocopies with more vocabulary?
Are you doing grammar?

I really enjoyed myself reading your comments. Yes, Paula, I agree we should have a photocopies card (That will be very useful!)
I know you have made a big effort studying in France and I am sure you have learned an awful lot! You sound much more fluent now!!! I can´t wait to see what you have done with your application form!!!
