First of all, choose the festivity you feel more attracted to:

• Notting Hill Carnival – August 25^th
• Columbus Day – October 12^th  
• Guy Fawkes – November 5^th
• Thanksgiving – November 24^th
• Veterans Day – November 11^th
• Hannukah – December 25^th
• Matin Luther King – January 18^th
• Superbowl – February 5^th
• Valentine’s Day – February 14^th
• Mardi Gras – February 23^rd
• St. Patrick’s Day – March 7^th
• April Fools’ Day – April 1^st
• St. George’s Day – April 23^rd
• Easter
• Summer Soltice – June 21^st
• NYC Pride – June 26^th
• Glastonbury Festival –  June 22^nd – 26^th
• Independence Day – July 4^th
• Edinburgh Festival – August 5^th – 29^th

Second of all, an available day. We will discuss it.

Last but certainly not least, you are supposed to take some things into account:

• Your PowerPoint slideshows must start with an outline.  

•  Excessive content is not allowed on the slides – just important info., pics., etc.

• Reading is not allowed – we’ll be looking for eye contact and interaction with the rest of the class.  

• If you decide to include audio or video, it must be relevant and it has to do with your point.

•  Check possible spelling mistakes on slides – they’re quite embarrassing!

• Try to have fun and amuse people listening to you.
